Safe Drive Stay Alive is an innovative young driver safety project, produced in the UK since 2003, and introduced to the US in 2007 through a pilot program in California. The hard-hitting, emotionally charged 1-hour live event incorporates both localized video and testimonies from emergency services presenters.

The program focuses students on the impact of illegal or inattentive driving, not just on themselves, but on all they affect, including the emergency services and medical personnel who are tasked with dealing with the consequences of road traffic accidents.

Safe Drive Stay Alive debuts at Highway Safety conference
The Safe Drive Stay Alive program was recently exhibited at the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon, September 23-26, 2007. The meeting was attended by more than 450 federal, state and private sector highway safety officials, and the project was received with great enthusiasm, particularly given the international focus of the event this year. We are currently following up with interest from locations as diverse as the State of Washington and the US Virgin Islands.

Safe Drive Stay Alive producer 20/20 Productions, Inc is pleased to support the GHSA through Associate Membership.
